Frequently Asked Questions

Questions people ask before they hire us

Straight answers on how we work, what we will and won’t do, and what happens to your research once you send it to us.

Getting Started

Working with us

How do we begin?

Send us the brief, the dataset or the draft — whatever you have. We read it properly before quoting anything, then come back with the scope, method, timeline and cost in writing. The first 15-minute consultation is free and carries no obligation.

Do you write the thesis for me?

No. We help you write it. That means designing the methodology, running and explaining the analysis, structuring chapters, and editing your drafts — but the writing and the argument stay yours. It is the only version that survives a viva.

How long does a project take?

It depends entirely on scope. A data analysis chapter can take days; a full thesis worked through from proposal to submission runs across months. We give you a timeline in writing before starting, and we work in stages so you see drafts as they are produced rather than waiting until the end.

What does it cost?

We quote per project, because a methodology review and a full analysis are very different jobs. The figure is fixed in writing before any work begins, so there are no surprises later. Ask for a quote and you will have one without committing to anything.

What if I am not happy with the work?

You get unlimited revisions within the agreed scope, and we state the limits of that scope plainly up front so the boundary is clear from day one.

What We Do

Services and expertise

What subjects do you cover?

Our strongest fields are economics, finance, management, business, public policy and the social sciences — the areas our team has published in. We also handle the quantitative side of health, education and engineering research where the work is statistical rather than domain-specific. If a project sits outside what we can do well, we will tell you rather than take it on.

Can you help with only the data analysis?

Yes, and it is the request we get most. Send the dataset and your research questions, and you get the analysis, the tables formatted to your referencing style, and a written explanation of what the results mean so you can defend them. See data analysis and interpretation.

What software do you work in?

SPSS, Stata, R, EViews, Python, NVivo and MAXQDA, plus Power BI and Tableau for visualisation. If your department requires a specific tool or output format, tell us and we will work in it.

Do you help with journal publication?

Yes — journal selection matched to your field and ranking target, formatting to the journal’s own template, reviewer-response drafting and resubmission strategy. See journal selection and publication support.

Do you work with undergraduates, or only postgraduates?

Both. Final year projects, Master’s dissertations and PhD theses. The level changes the depth of the work, not whether we will take it.

Do you offer training rather than doing the work?

Yes. One-to-one mentorship and software training are among our services, and we build a teaching element into analysis projects by default so you can rerun the work yourself. See mentorship and skills development.

Trust

Confidentiality and academic integrity

Is my work kept confidential?

Yes. Your data, your drafts and the fact that you worked with us stay private. We do not publish client work as examples without written permission, and we do not reuse anyone’s data or writing on another project.

Is using a research support service allowed by my university?

Editing, proofreading, statistical consultation and methodology advice are normally permitted — many universities run their own statistics units offering exactly this. Submitting work written by someone else is not. Check your faculty’s academic integrity policy, and we will work within whatever it allows.

Will the work pass a similarity check?

Everything we support is your own writing, so there is nothing to match against another source. We do not resell or recycle text, which is how ghostwritten work usually gets caught.

Do you use AI to produce the work?

Not for the parts that matter. AI cannot design a defensible sampling strategy, justify a model to an examiner, or notice that a regression has broken its own assumptions — and it invents citations. Your methodology and analysis are done by researchers.

Will you sign a non-disclosure agreement?

Yes, if your institution or funder requires one. Send it across with your brief.

Practical

Where we are and how we work

Where are you based?

Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Our office hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00am to 6:00pm Malaysia time (GMT+8). If you are in the Klang Valley and prefer to meet in person, that can be arranged.

Do you work with clients outside Malaysia?

Yes. Most of the work happens online and we have worked with researchers and organisations in several countries. Time zones are managed around your deadlines, not ours.

How do I get in touch quickly?

WhatsApp is fastest — +60 11-1168 6243. You can also use the contact form, and we reply the same working day.

Who will actually do my project?

The researchers doing the analysis, not an account manager. You deal directly with the person working on your project.

Still have a question?

Fifteen minutes on a call usually answers it. No cost, no obligation.
