Aizaz Torwali has spent eight years doing the work he now oversees: designing studies, running the analysis, and writing them up to a standard that survives review. A PhD Scholar in Management and an MPhil economist, he has lectured at the University of Peshawar, led fieldwork across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, and worked as an economist on the ADB-funded Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Project. Five of his papers are published. He founded AT Acumen so that researchers and organisations could reach that standard without needing a university department behind them.
